Goodwood Festival of Speed in Goodwood

A hillclimb motorsport festival held up the driveway of Goodwood House in West Sussex each late June or early July, founded in 1993 by Lord March, now the Duke of Richmond, to bring motor racing back to the historic Goodwood estate. It draws manufacturer participation and both historic and current racing and road cars from across the international motor industry.

Goodwood Festival of Speed was founded in 1993 by Charles Gordon-Lennox, then Lord March and now the Duke of Richmond, who set out specifically to bring motor racing back to the Goodwood estate in West Sussex, a location with deep existing links to British motorsport through the nearby Goodwood Motor Circuit.
