Leeds Festival in Leeds
The northern half of the twin-site Reading and Leeds Festival, staged at Bramham Park near Wetherby since 2003 after relocating from Temple Newsam following disorder at the 2002 event. Sharing a rotating headline lineup with Reading across the same August bank holiday weekend, it gives audiences across the north of England a major guitar-music festival close to home.
Leeds Festival joined the Reading Festival as its twin-site partner in 1999, staged initially at Temple Newsam, a historic parkland estate on the edge of the city, sharing the same rotating headline lineup format that lets major acts perform at both UK sites across the same August bank holiday weekend.
