EFG London Jazz Festival in London
Europe's largest pan-city music festival, held across London venues each November since its creation in 1992 by jazz production company Serious. Now known as the EFG London Jazz Festival following sponsorship since 2013, it stages over three hundred shows for an audience exceeding one hundred thousand people.
The London Jazz Festival grew out of Camden's own Jazz Week, added to the borough's wider Camden Festival in 1970 and staged at venues across Camden for roughly fifteen years afterward, establishing a template for London-wide jazz programming that later organisers would build on at a larger scale.
