Indiana Fiddlers Gathering in Battle Ground
The Indiana Fiddlers' Gathering is an old-time acoustic music festival held at the Tippecanoe Battlefield in Battle Ground, Indiana, begun in 1972 as an informal gathering of musicians. Now marking its 54th year, the event runs June 26 through 28, 2026, and features concerts, workshops, jam sessions, and an open stage spanning old-time, bluegrass, Irish, Creole, Metis, Mexican folk fiddle, swing jazz fiddle, string band, and Celtic music on a single stage.
Each late June, the Tippecanoe Battlefield in Battle Ground, Indiana, a site already carrying its own weight of American history, hosts a different kind of gathering: fiddlers, from old-time and bluegrass players to musicians working in Irish, Creole, Metis, Mexican folk, swing jazz, string band, and Celtic traditions, converging for three days of concerts, workshops, and open jamming.
