Blue Ridge Trout and Outdoor Adventures Festival in Blue Ridge
A family-friendly outdoor recreation festival in Downtown Blue Ridge City Park, Georgia, organized as an all-volunteer fundraiser for Trout Unlimited's cold-water conservation work. Now in its ninth annual staging each April, it combines a trout-fishing pond and fish, bike, and kayak demonstrations with mountain biking, hiking, and paddling exhibits, live music, craft beer, and a food court across a full day for ten dollars admission.
Fannin County calls itself Georgia's trout capital, and each spring the small mountain town of Blue Ridge turns its downtown city park into a hands-on showcase of that identity with the Blue Ridge Trout and Outdoor Adventures Festival.
