Colorado Music Festival in Boulder

The Colorado Music Festival is a classical orchestral and chamber music series held each summer in Boulder's historic Chautauqua Auditorium, running from late June through early August. Founded in 1976 by conductor Giora Bernstein, it is now led by music director Peter Oundjian.

In 1976, Vienna-born conductor and violinist Giora Bernstein, newly appointed to head the conducting program at the University of Colorado, founded the Colorado Chamber Orchestra in Boulder.
