Underground Music Showcase in Denver
The Underground Music Showcase is a locally owned, independently focused music festival built around emerging and underground artists, running across multiple stages and venues each July. In 2026 it moves to Denver's RiNo Art District in partnership with the RiNo Business Improvement District, featuring more than 200 local and national acts.
Most large music festivals are built around headliner names and single-site production logistics, but the Underground Music Showcase has staked its identity on the opposite approach: prioritizing emerging and independent artists, spreading performances across many small venues rather than a handful of major stages, and treating the underground music scene itself as the festival's foundation rather than a marketing angle layered onto mainstream programming.
