Duluth Dylan Fest in Duluth
Duluth Dylan Fest is a week-long, volunteer-run celebration of Bob Dylan, held each May in the city where he was born, running from mid to late May around his May 24 birthday. Organized by volunteers and coordinated with local partners, it fills the week with jam sessions, concerts, a memorial lecture series, guided tours, and events tied to Bob Dylan Way, the 1.8-mile cultural pathway through downtown Duluth named in his honor.
Duluth Dylan Fest exists because of a simple biographical fact: Bob Dylan was born Robert Zimmerman in Duluth, Minnesota, in 1941, before his family later moved to Hibbing on the Iron Range.
