Watershed Festival in George
First held in 2012, Watershed is a three-day country music festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington, produced by Live Nation on a bluff overlooking the Columbia River. Over its run it became one of the largest country festivals in the Pacific Northwest, hosting stars like Miranda Lambert, Eric Church and Carrie Underwood, though the event announced a hiatus after its 2025 edition.
The Gorge Amphitheatre sits on a bluff above a horseshoe bend of the Columbia River in central Washington, a natural amphitheatre so dramatic that touring artists and fans alike treat a show there as a destination rather than a routine tour stop.
