South Carolina Festival of Flowers in Greenwood
The South Carolina Festival of Flowers transforms Uptown Greenwood into a walkable garden gallery each June, a tradition dating to 1968 when the city marked the hundredth anniversary of the Park Seed Company with the state's first Festival of Flowers. The month-long celebration features more than fifteen events, anchored by forty-four living topiary sculptures displayed throughout downtown.
The South Carolina Festival of Flowers exists because of a seed catalog.
