Western Maryland Blues Fest in Hagerstown
The Western Maryland Blues Fest is an annual blues-music festival in downtown Hagerstown, Maryland. Conceived in 1995 and first held in 1996, it ran for 23 consecutive years as a city-hosted event before ending in 2018. Hub City Brewery revived it as a two-day festival in downtown Hagerstown, held the first weekend after Memorial Day into early June.
Hagerstown's blues festival began as a deliberate piece of civic placemaking.
