RiverSong Music Festival in Hutchinson
RiverSong Music Festival fills Hutchinson's Masonic and West River Park each July with a lineup restricted entirely to Minnesota-based musicians, a rule its founders set when a group of Community Area Leadership Program graduates launched the event in 2009. The two-day, multi-stage festival mixes blues, rock, indie, country and Americana acts with camping, a beer and wine garden, and free admission for kids fourteen and under.
Hutchinson's Masonic and West River Park along the Crow River becomes a two-day, multi-stage home for Minnesota-only music each July, when RiverSong Music Festival puts a firm rule at the center of its lineup: every performer has to have genuine roots in the state.
