O+ Kingston Festival spreads three days of music, visual art, and wellness programming across downtown Kingston each October, rather than fencing it into one venue. Bands and installations pop up on ordinary city blocks, so the evening's rhythm comes from walking between them. The festival is built around a healthcare exchange model that trades medical and wellness care for artists' work, and Kingston is where the format first launched in 2010.
