Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival in Lodi
The Lodi Sandhill Crane Festival is an early-November birdwatching festival founded around 1998 by the nonprofit Lodi Sandhill Crane Association, reaching its 28th annual edition in 2026. Centered at Hutchins Street Square, it offers guided field tours to the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve and Cosumnes River Preserve to view wintering Greater and Lesser Sandhill Cranes, alongside presentations, an art show, and youth programming.
It is a strong nature-based festival with birding and conservation identity.
