Los Angeles Marathon in Los Angeles
The Los Angeles Marathon has run each spring since 1986, when it launched as a legacy event tied to the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and drew more than 10,000 entrants in its debut, one of the largest inaugural marathons ever held. Its long-running Stadium to the Sea course connects Dodger Stadium to the Santa Monica Pier through neighborhoods including Hollywood and Beverly Hills.
It is a signature sports event with broad civic and travel relevance.
