Medora Musical in Medora
The Medora Musical is a nightly outdoor variety show at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre in Medora, North Dakota, running June 3 to September 12, 2026. Celebrating Theodore Roosevelt's history in the North Dakota Badlands, the production combines live horses, a fireworks finale, and country and Americana music with thrilling variety acts, running continuously since its 1965 premiere.
Theodore Roosevelt first came to the Badlands of what is now western North Dakota in 1883 to hunt bison, and returned two years later to ranch cattle after the same devastating day in 1884 claimed both his wife and his mother.
