Millvale Music Festival in Millvale
The Millvale Music Festival packs more than 300 musical acts onto 28 stages within a six-tenths-of-a-mile walk through this small borough north of Pittsburgh, alongside visual artists, spoken word, comedians, and food trucks. Free to attend since its 2017 debut, the two-day May festival is organized by Millvale's community development group and closely tied to Pittsburgh public radio station WYEP.
Twenty-eight stages packed into a six-tenths-of-a-mile radius give the Millvale Music Festival its defining trait: almost the entire two-day lineup sits within an easy walk along the streets of this small Allegheny County borough just north of Pittsburgh.
