Lincoln Park Music Festival in Newark
Lincoln Park Music Festival is a large-scale music festival in Newark's historic Lincoln Park neighborhood, produced by the Lincoln Park Coast Cultural District (LPCCD). Billed as the region's largest music experience rooted in African American and Afro Caribbean traditions, it draws an estimated 50,000 to 60,000 attendees across a full summer season that peaks over two weekends in July and August, spanning gospel, jazz, house, hip-hop, R&B, reggae, dancehall, soca, and Kompa.
Its Black music, arts, and community-development mission make it meaningful.
