High Water Festival in North Charleston
High Water Festival is a two-day music festival held each April at Riverfront Park in North Charleston, South Carolina, on the banks of the Cooper River. Founded in 2017 by Charleston folk duo Shovels and Rope, the festival programs a mix of indie rock, Americana, and soul acts across multiple stages, with 2026 marking a full transition of production to Live Nation's C3 Presents.
High Water Festival began in 2017 as a passion project of Shovels and Rope, the Charleston-based husband-and-wife folk duo of Cary Ann Hearst and Michael Trent.
