Ogden Marathon in Ogden
The Ogden Marathon is an annual road race run each May through Ogden Canyon into downtown Ogden, Utah, drawing thousands of runners for a certified, net-downhill course popular as a Boston Marathon qualifier. Alongside the full marathon, the event includes a half marathon, 10K, 5K, and relay division, making it one of the largest single-day running events in northern Utah each spring.
Ogden Canyon has carried travelers between the Wasatch Front and the mountain valleys above it for as long as the region has been settled, first as a wagon route and later as a paved highway linking Ogden to the resort and ranch communities of Ogden Valley.
