Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival in Orange Beach
The Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival is an eleven-day music festival held each November across venues along the Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast, including Orange Beach, Alabama and Perdido Key, Florida. Running since 1984 and marking its 42nd year in 2026, the festival features more than 200 songwriters delivering over 600 performances across two dozen stages, with proceeds funding music education and scholarships.
In 1984, a group of songwriters and Gulf Coast music fans started a festival built on a simple but distinctive premise: rather than showcasing bands performing polished sets, the event would let songwriters play their own songs in an intimate setting and talk about where those songs actually came from.
