Highmark Light Up Night is Pittsburgh's official kickoff to the holiday season, produced by the Pittsburgh Downtown Partnership on a Saturday evening before Thanksgiving. Downtown skyscrapers keep their lights blazing all night while more than 200,000 visitors browse the Peoples Gas Holiday Market, watch tree lightings, and gather for a fireworks finale across Grant Street and the surrounding bridges.
