ZooLights Portland in Portland
From late November through early January, the Oregon Zoo transforms its grounds into a walk-through holiday light display, with wildlife-inspired light sculptures, a glittering light tunnel, and a zoo train ride past dozens of life-size animal lanterns. It is one of the Pacific Northwest's larger holiday lighting events, drawing families for date nights, photo sessions, and seasonal treats across roughly six weeks each winter.
The Oregon Zoo has occupied its hillside site in Washington Park since 1888, making it one of the oldest zoos in the United States, and over more than a century it has become one of the most visited attractions in the Pacific Northwest.
