Electric Forest is a four-day music and camping festival held each late June at Double JJ Resort in Rothbury, Michigan, blending electronic dance music with jam-band lineups. Produced jointly by Insomniac Events and Madison House Presents, it grew out of the Rothbury Music Festival, which ran in 2008 and 2009 before rebranding under its current name in 2011. Tens of thousands of fans camp on-site for a weekend built around illuminated forest art and late-night sets.
