The WM Phoenix Open is a PGA Tour golf tournament held every February at TPC Scottsdale, famous for its par-3 16th hole, nicknamed the Coliseum, where roughly 20,000 fans in stadium-style seating create the loudest, most raucous atmosphere in professional golf. Designed by architect Jay Morrish with Tom Weiskopf and first played on the Stadium Course in 1987, the hole has produced twelve holes-in-one, including a famous 1997 ace by Tiger Woods.
