The Sheridan WYO Rodeo is a PRCA-sanctioned rodeo held each July in Sheridan, Wyoming, running over four evening performances. Established in 1931, it ranks among the top twenty-five paying rodeos in the PRCA Playoff Series, with payouts exceeding three hundred thousand dollars, and anchors a full week of Sheridan community celebration.
The Sheridan WYO Rodeo was established in 1931 in Sheridan, a northern Wyoming town at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains with deep ranching and cavalry-era roots, and it has run continuously in the decades since to become one of the state's most prominent Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association events.
