Kenai River Festival in Soldotna
The Kenai River Festival is a free, family-oriented celebration of the Kenai River held annually at Soldotna Creek Park, organized by the nonprofit Kenai Watershed Forum. The festival combines environmental education, community outreach, and outdoor recreation programming, reflecting the Forum's broader mission of protecting Kenai Peninsula watersheds that it has pursued since 1997.
The Kenai River is one of Alaska's most heavily used salmon rivers, drawing sport fishermen from around the world to chase king, sockeye, and silver salmon runs each summer.
