Wings Over the Prairie Festival in Stuttgart

Wings Over the Prairie Festival transforms six blocks of downtown Stuttgart into the largest outdoor expo in the Mid-South every Thanksgiving weekend, anchored by the World's Championship Duck Calling Contest. Dating to 1936, the festival adds a carnival and midway, a 5K/10K Duck Race, the World's Championship Duck Gumbo Cookoff, and a free Party in the Park concert.

Stuttgart calls itself the Rice and Duck Capital of the World, and the Wings Over the Prairie Festival is built to prove both halves of that claim at once.
