Walla Walla Guitar Festival in Walla Walla
The Walla Walla Guitar Festival is a three-day music festival held each March across more than a dozen venues in and around downtown Walla Walla, including wineries, bars, and a historic ballroom. Now in its mid-teens of annual editions, the festival features more than thirty bands playing rock, blues, funk, jazz, and country across the wristband-access, multi-venue weekend.
The Walla Walla Guitar Festival was founded by Robin Barrett, who built the event in part as a way to repay musician friends who had helped him secure gigs earlier in his own career, giving the festival roots in the personal relationships of Walla Walla's local music community rather than a purely commercial festival concept.
