Washington State Apple Blossom Festival in Wenatchee
The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival is an eleven-day spring celebration in Wenatchee, first held in 1920 to honor the region's apple-growing industry. Originally called Blossom Days and produced by the local Ladies Musical Club, the festival has grown to include multiple parades, a carnival, a golf tournament, a food fair, and an arts and crafts fair each late April into early May.
The Washington State Apple Blossom Festival began in 1919 under the name Blossom Days, founded specifically to celebrate the apple industry's central importance to the Wenatchee Valley economy.
