Dolores, in the Soriano department, is understood within Uruguay's motorcycling community to host an international motorcycle gathering drawing riders from neighboring countries, though a dedicated source independently confirming this event's founding date, current program or organizer was not found during this research pass.
Dolores has clearly established itself as a city willing to host and sustain grassroots, enthusiast-organized annual events, most visibly through its Fiesta Nacional del Caballo, carried forward since 1988 by a dedicated volunteer Comite Popular of equestrian hobbyists, and its separate Fiesta Nacional de la Primavera, a secondary-school student tradition running since the 1960s.
