Chuungu (recorded officially as Chungu) is a Tonga thanksgiving and rain ceremony held each October in Kalomo District, Southern Province, under Chief Chikanta, marking the close of the harvest season and formally asking for the rains needed to sustain crops and livestock through the season ahead.

Kalomo District, on the plateau of Zambia's Southern Province, is home to more named Lwiindi ceremonies than almost anywhere else in Tonga country, a reflection of how many distinct chieftaincies share this stretch of farming and grazing land and each maintain their own shrine and rain-calling tradition.
